Special Shape Dies & Mandrels
In addition to conventionally shaped dies, Bronson & Bratton makes virtually unending variety of special shaped draw dies and mandrels used for drawing ferrous and non-ferrous wire, rod, bar, and tubing.
Adjustable Draw Dies
For all square, flat and hexagon bar and tube drawings, the ADJUSTABLE DRAW DIE is the perfect, money-saving, all-purpose tool. The profile is formed by sliding cross-pieces with tungsten carbide inserts. As soon as it shows signs of wear, it can be reground and re-polished many times over and at a modest cost. These cross pieces are housed in high grade, heat-treated alloy steel cases.

LOW COST - A Single die can be used instead of a whole set of one-piece carbide dies. You save time as you don't have to order special sizes and profiles, and you can finish it in your die shop. The results are the same: high efficiency, perfect accuracy, beautifully finished product.
Extrusion Dies
Bronson & Bratton produces extrusion dies for rounds, standard shapes and special shapes for various industries producing a multitude of materials including ceramics, ferrous & non-ferrous metals, in either hot or cold processes.
Carbide Brazed-Type Mandrels
Bronson & Bratton can fabricate any shape of straight, tapered, or semi-floating brazed-type mandrel.

Carbide Shell Type Mandrels
Special sizes and grades are available on request to customer specifications.
Sizing Rings/Fins
Bronson & Bratton manufactures sizing rings/fins for finishing tubular products, both I.D. and O.D., in solid carbide and tool steels.
Straightening Rolls
Bronson & Bratton manufactures tool steel, carbide inserted and solid carbide rolls fabricated for the production of ferrour and non-ferrous rod, bar, and tubing.
Flattening Rolls
Bronson & Bratton manufactures new tool steel, carbide inserted and solid carbide flattening rolls. In addition, Bronson & Bratton can modify existing tool steel rolls to accept carbide tires.
Forming Rolls & Sizing Rolls
Tool steel, carbide inserted, solid carbide, grooved and fin rolls are manufactured by Bronson & Bratton for the manufacture of tubing, heating element products and shaped wire products.

Bronson & Bratton also offers Turkshead shaping and forming rolls for the wire screen industy made in either carbide or tool steel.
Side and End Blocks
Side and end block tooling for drawing square and rectangular rods and bars are made by Bronson & Bratton in solid and inserted carbide. In addition, complete, adjustable carbide inserted dies, or dies made to customer specifications, are available.
Floating Plugs
Bronson & Bratton can fabricate Floating Plugs engineered to any customer specification. Standard floating plugs with rounded or angled backs, semi floating plugs with ID hole clearance for bolt heads, and capillary plugs to control the ID of a tube.
